Pretty good, right in the heart of Hollywood Theater Row.  Yummy food - ham sandwich with Havarti and Dijon on a pretzel roll.  Quiet until the lunch crowd rolls in.  Good wi-fi, but the tables are small, chairs a little uncomfortable.  Overall, solid.

I've recently been spending a lot of time here - it's walking distance, which makes it convenient.  Lots of plugs, no couches, but plenty of tables.  Wi-fi is free with a $4 purchase, so the best thing to do is settle in, get lunch, and write for hours on end.  Good food - the baked eggs, prosciutto di parma sandwich, and curried chicken salad are all favorites.  Solid coffee/tea selection, too.  Try it out!

A great, Latin-themed coffee shop right on the edge of Little Armenia.  Regular live music and cultural events, but more importantly, it's a great place to just sit and write.  Sit all day, and the only time the staff will bug you is to remind you to put quarters in the meter.  Street parking can be tricky, but if you find a spot, definitely worth the effort.  Pros - the Mexican hot chocolate is spectacular, and a constantly changing sandwich and salad menu, relaxed atmosphere, never overcrowded, plenty of table space and plugs.  Cons - parking, the music can occasionally be a little loud, no couches!
