I'm not terribly surprised that a lot of writers have mentioned that they NEVER leave the house to write, and I can certainly understand why - comfortable, cozy, and you can work in your PJs with all your papers piled nearby for easy reference. However, personally, I occasionally have to switch locations and go somewhere there are actual people - I find the white noise of other humans soothing. Plus, there's better coffee to be had in the outside world. Still, especially if you're a night owl, sometimes the best place to crank out the pages is still home sweet home.
